A story of 12 bishonen “pretty boy” idols who strive for fame

The VAZZROCK anime features two idol groups VAZZY and ROCKDOWN belonging to Tsukipro (Tsukino Performing Arts Production Agency). Takashi Tsukino, the president of Tsukipro, gathered 12 men, all of whom come from different artistic backgrounds and ages, but ultimately inspire each other to reach for greater heights of skill and stardom.

VAZZROCK will follow a similar format to TSUKIUTA The Animation, where the opening will alternate between the two idol groups and the final track will be a solo performed by the character the episode was most focused on.

The TV anime depicts the daily lives of the 12 idols and showcases their enthusiastic hard work and preparations for an event taking place in three months’ time called VAZZROCK LIVE FLAWLESS.

The episodes of the anime are split into pairs, with one story being told over two episodes. However, the thirteenth episode will be a standalone episode.

Episode List:

  • Joyous – Episodes 1 & 2 (Takaaki Mamiya/Ouka Kira)
  • Effulgent – Episodes 3 & 4 (Shou Onoda/Haruto Kujikawa)
  • Wonder – Episodes 5 & 6 (Issa Kiduku/Futaba Kiduki)
  • Enchant – Episodes 7 & 8 (Reiji Amaha/Ayumu Tachibana)
  • Lucida – Episodes 9 & 10 (Naosuke Oyama/Yuma Shirase)
  • Rival – Episodes 11 & 12 (Gaku Oguro/Ruku Nadumi)
  • Yes?? – Episode 13

These two-episode stories will focus on two idols as seen above, with each episode having one character as the main focus. The episode duos are nicknamed, and when the first letter of each nickname is taken, the list spells out the word JEWELRY. Episodes 9 and 10 will feature the theme Tsukihana Kagura for the first time.
