Netflix’s Exploding Kittens mobile game launches at the end of May

Netflix’s Exploding Kittens — The Gamea new mobile title based on the popular card game, will be available for free to Netflix subscribers on May 31, the company announced Tuesday† The new game will be a different version from the one already available on the App Store and Google Play, and at launch it will have two exclusive maps. Basically, Netflix plans to add cards based on the upcoming animated series that will hit the service in 2023.

Netflix also unveiled three additional mobile games, all of which will be available Tuesday as part of the service’s growing library of mobile titles: beunhaasTownspeople—A Kingdom Rebuiltand dragon up† Once all four titles are released, Netflix will count 22 games as part of its catalog.

The company launched its mobile games initiative first on Android in early November and on iOS a week later, and has been steadily adding titles to the service ever since. Netflix has also picked up a few studios, including Ox free developer Night School.

Netflix has been going through a bit of a rough patch since it reported it was losing subscribers for the first time in more than a decade and recently laid off a number of employees.
