The show’s first season with only six episodes has received widespread positive reviews and fans are raving about the second season. Netflix’s The Sound Of Magic is a Korean drama series based on the Webtoon called ‘Annarasumanara’ by Ha Il-Kwon. Created by Kim Sung-youn and Kim Min-Jeong, the series debuted on Netflix in May 2022. When Yoon Ah Yi’s parents abandon her and her younger sister in The Sound of Magic, she finds a part-time job and studies tirelessly to for them.
Yoon Ah Yi is one of the top students in her school, despite balancing work, school and parenting obligations to her sister. Her only dream is that time would go faster so that she could grow up and have a secure career and income. When she meets a magician and tells him about her wish, her life changes forever.
Is The Sound of Magic Season 2 Coming?
All six episodes of the first season of the series were released on May 6, 2022. Meanwhile, with regard to The Sound Of Magic season 2, no official announcement has been made about the fate of the show as of yet. But this isn’t surprising given that Netflix usually takes a few months to assess how a show is performing before making a decision about its future. We know that the Webtoon on which the series is based consists of 25 chapters. So there is no shortage of source material to continue the series. What to expect from The Sound Of Magic season 2?
In the show’s first season, when Yoon Ah-Yi desperately needed help, Ri-eul appeared before her, making her wonder if he really was a magician. Meanwhile, Ah-Yi got closer to Na Il-deung after asking her out on a study date. However, while the police questioned Ah-Yi about a person wearing a cape, some dark secrets about Ri-eul were revealed. Meanwhile, towards the end of the first season, Ri-eul mysteriously disappeared. On the other hand, Ah-yi went to the amusement park, where she reminisced about the past before going to work and doing some magic tricks for a birthday girl.
If the series returns with The Sound Of Magic season 2, the story will most likely continue after events that occurred in the first season. The season will give us a glimpse of what lies ahead in Ah-Yi’s life as a magician. In The Sound Of Magic season 2, we may see Ri-eul return to Ah-Yi’s life. The season could also reveal the reason behind her disappearance in the first place. Additionally, fans can expect the second season to also reveal what the future holds for Ill-deung and Ah-Yi.
Who will be in the cast!
The cast of the Korean drama series has a brilliant cast, with Ji Chang-Wook as Ri-eul and Choi Sung-Eun as Yoon Ah-Yi. The show also stars Hwang In-youp as Na Il-deung and Yoo Jae-Myung as Na Ji-Man. And Hong Jung-min appears as Yoon Yoo-Yi.
Additionally, viewers saw Hong Seo-hee as Young Ji-soo and Kim Bo-yoon as Kim So-hee. And Kim Bada plays Sergeant Park in the series. If the series is relaunched for The Sound Of Magic season 2, most of the main protagonists from the first season will likely return in their respective roles. On the other hand, as the plot and storyline expand in Season 2. There may also be some new additions to the cast.
