The GrimGrimoire Once More real-time strategy game has revealed its characters and voices in a new trailer.
In addition, the trailer, the third video published by Nippon Ichi software ahead of the new game’s premiere, it showcases fantastic graphics work from developer Vanillaware.
The GrimGrimoire Oncemore Trailer
In the newly released trailer, GrimGrimoire OnceMore reveals more characters. This is the Switch adaptation of the PlayStation 2 classic GrimGrimoire. The students and professors, as well as the game’s voice actors, are all introduced in this clip.
The clip is entirely in Japanese, but showcases Vanillaware’s stunning art and some story-related gameplay.

GrimGrimoire OnceMore new features, story and more
Aside from the newly recorded character voiceovers, the magical single-player fantasy game also includes new features in the remake. These features will largely enhance the player’s experience. Some of these features include the high-resolution graphics that give a wider and clearer view of the gameplay, plus new options for fast-forwarding and saving into battle. A new hard difficulty setting has also been added.
Other new features include a ‘Gallery Function’ with over 90 illustrations that can be viewed in-game; a new system called ‘Great Magic’ that can be activated during combat, but for a limited number of times; A skill tree feature is also available, among other exciting features.
Game Storyline
The publisher NIS (Nippon Ichi Softwares) presents the story of the game as follows:
A new magical school student, Lillet Blan, attends a prestigious magical school in the Silver Star Tower. She has a big dream to become a great magician, someone her little brothers look up to. After her first five days at school, she gets stuck in loops of time; everyone but her was gone; then she is brought back by this time-fall to the first day of school. Now she must solve the mystery with the help of elves, fairies and other acquaintances before it’s too late.
The GrimGrimoire OnceMore is a remake of the classic GrimGrimoire game, which was released on PlayStation 2 in 2007. Additionally, this remake will launch on PlayStation 4 in Japan on July 28, 2022. It will also be on sale on Switch. A western release date has not yet been announced.
